HDR  Photography - High Dynamic Range Photography

This is a Barnes and Noble bookstore in Williamsburg, VA. The colors and lighting remind me of a Thomas Kinkade painting. This is actually a photograph, or more precisely, three photos merged into one. This was also one of my first HDR images. For some reason, when people first explore HDR, they (and I include myself) like to explore the surreal colors that can be brought forth from the actual lighting captured. I like this picture. It gives me a good feeling inside. And that's a point I want to emphasize. When I take photos and process them, I try to capture an emotional feeling that, hopefully, I can pass on to others, that maybe they can enjoy being there through these photos.
